OhioDance presents dance at the Ohio Statehouse Summer Lawn Series
This event will be on Friday, June 24, 2016 from 12:00pm-1:00pm on the west lawn of the Statehouse.
OhioDance is interested in international dance or dances with an international theme. However other ideas will be open for review. There will be some compensation. Application due May 10.

Bates College Staff Position: Bates Dance Festival Admissions Director/Operations Manager (closes 7/2)
Provides organizational and financial management, communications and administrative support for all aspects of the Bates Dance Festival. Areas of particular emphasis include adjudicating student applications (400+/year), communicating with applicants and their families, and creating and implementing administrative systems for the smooth running of the Festival. Additional responsibilities include adjudicating scholarship applications, supervising student assistants and interns, managing the annual solicitation campaign, management and upkeep of all computer data, and collaborating with the Festival Director to support faculty, staff, visiting artists, and training program needs.

MamLuft&Co. Dance seeks a motivated, skilled, experienced, and highly productive person to serve as the small, non-profit organization’s first Education and Outreach Director. The Education and Outreach Director will be responsible for: raising and earning funds to make her/his position self-sustaining; strengthening the organization’s current education and outreach programs, and
expanding and developing new programs for purposes that include increasing reach to underserved populations.

Dance Director and Instructors Needed for Byrn Mawr Summer Camp
Bryn Mawr seeks a Dance Program Director, responsible for coordinating and overseeing the dance program area, supervising classes in ballet, tap, jazz, modern, and hip hop. Program directors live in staff housing and assist with evening camper supervision and will plan and coordinate some all-camp activities, evening programs and special events, as well as direct an end of camp performance and choreography for an inter-camp competition.  There are 3 additional staff that the Dance Director would supervise. There are also openings for general dance counselors who are able to teach dance and live with campers. Most cabins have 10 to 12 campers and two counselors. The general counselor would work either full-time in dance or part-time and spend the remainder of the day with her cabin. Responsibilities include working with the program director to lead each class, help choreograph and teach 2-3 minute performance pieces and ensure that dance classes are encouraging for all campers. Salary, travel stipend, and room and board included.
