Post-Doctoral Fellowships for the Society of Fellows in the Humanities
The Society of Fellows in the Humanities is the first initiative of its kind in East Asia and aims to attract exceptional, early-career post-doctoral scholars from around the world. Located in one of the world’s most dynamic cities and on Mainland China’s doorstep, the Society provides a new space for research and scholarly exchange free from formal requirements and disciplinary constraints. The Society welcomed its first five Fellows in September 2017. They come from globally renowned institutions and are among the best young scholars working in the arts & humanities today. Together they are contributing to a vibrant research community and interacting with acclaimed scholars from across all humanities disciplines. We are now accepting applications for the 2018 intake. Up to six Post-Doctoral Fellowships will commence on August 1, 2018, or as soon as possible thereafter, for a period of three years. I am attaching a flyer with details of the Society and its aims. President’s Postdoctoral Fellowship Program
The University seeks applicants whose research, teaching, and service will contribute to diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity in higher education and at the University of Maryland. The President’s Postdoctoral Fellowship Program is interested in scholars with the potential to bring to their research and teaching the critical perspective that comes from their educational background or understanding of the experiences of groups historically underrepresented in higher education. The program, in particular, encourages applicants who would increase representation in campus units where women and minorities are underrepresented.
