Once the Study Abroad Office receives applications they will begin to look for funding opportunities specifically for students participating in the trip.

We examine various social justice issues while working in solidarity with local activists, non-profit organizations, and communities. Join OSU students in a cultural exchange between the Dance Department and TNUA. BFA students from OSU spend a semester abroad, and OSU Dance welcomes graduates from TNUA. A list of material needed to be considered can be found under Application.
NYU Steinhardt Study Abroad Programs
Uganda: Dance Education
Learning how to teach, create, and perform dance – and to build community – through the lens of another culture. You’ll collaborate with professional dancers, educators, and students from the Royal Ballet Academy and Makerere University in Kampala. Take classes in traditional Ugandan dance, East African drumming, and teaching methodology, and then implement lesson plans with children from local orphanages and other community-based organizations.
